My name is Joshua Havens and I maintain and operate KnowYourLake.com. I received the inspiration to design this site after an unsuccessful fishing trip on Barren River Lake in Kentucky back in 2007. During the hours of not catching fish, I thought about a website that would give you current info on popular lakes in the US. My first design for KnowYourLake.com was in 2007, and it received a major update in 2010.
